This Romtec Model 2910 is the largest predetermined layout with women’s and men’s restrooms, two storage rooms and large spaces for a standing and sitting occupancy of 410 people. The structure is designed with durable concrete blocks to withstand high-speed impacts, wind, and other turbulent natural forces. Romtec storm shelter models can be configured as basic, no-frills structures or iconic community buildings that can be used year-round. This model in particular has incorporated drinking fountains, sanitation stations and an abundance of fixed benches for community members to wait out storms. Additionally, Romtec’s engineers can customize any storm shelter according to your project specifications, such as by implementing water bottle drinking fountains inside, matching exteriors with an existing community structure, or simply incorporating a unique exterior design.
