ABOUT ROMTEC
David and Sally Bogan founded Romtec Inc. in 1979. The initial product line included the patented Romtec cross-linked polyethylene toilet riser. This product is used in virtually all vault restrooms nationwide.
Romtec has always based its company and products on strong engineering. With design and engineering expertise in industrial rotational molding, Romtec expanded its polyethylene product line to include the patented "direct burial" cross-linked polyethylene vault.
The Romtec cross-linked polyethylene vaults and toilet risers revolutionized how self-contained restrooms are built. With these safe and unbreakable components Romtec and the US Forest Service developed the first odor-free SST® restroom, the Romtec SST® Original.
The SST® Original Restroom integrated Romtec's patented vault and riser technology with a tough and ADA compliant prefab building which included the odor-free SST® design. This product worked so well that virtually all self-contained vault restrooms built today utilize the Romtec vent scheme and associated SST® technology.
Romtec then expanded its molded restroom business to include the entire Romtec SST® Traditional product line. These restrooms, with attractive cedar and stucco siding, are popular prefabricated solutions for parks, campgrounds and recreation sites everywhere.
Romtec builds a wide range of SST® vault restrooms, offering pre-engineered structures in wood, concrete and stucco. All Romtec restrooms meet ADA guidelines and are designed for high use and low maintenance. Romtec SST® restrooms are the state of the art for permanent, vandal-proof, odor-free facilities for all locations.
By the early 1990's Romtec expanded again, incorporating its overall restroom expertise into what is today the largest and most varied line of conventional restroom, shower, concession and multi-use public facilities available worldwide.
